Hand-carved from solid river stone, this plate retains the natural, unaltered contour of the stone it was shaped from - no two edges are ever quite the same. A smooth, polished interior contrasts with the raw, organic outer rim, celebrating the stone's original form rather than forcing it into a perfect circle.
Durable and easy to live with, it's dishwasher safe and versatile enough for daily use. Serve appetizers, cheese, or small plates with natural elegance, or use it as a striking decorative tray or catch-all. Each plate is handcrafted by expert artisans in Peru with techniques refined over generations, so every piece carries its own individual shape, tone, and texture.
Because it's cut from natural stone, variations in color, texture, and outer shape are part of its character, not a flaw - this is especially true of our Organic Plates, which embrace the stone's natural, unrefined silhouette. As each piece is entirely handmade, weight may vary slightly (approximately 100-200g) from the listed measurement.
Dimensions:
Diameter: approx. 8 in (natural, organic shape - dimensions may vary slightly from piece to piece)
Height: 1.5 in
Weight: approx. 1.4 kg (3.09 lbs) - may vary ±100-200g due to handmade nature
Care: Dishwasher safe. For long-term care, hand washing is recommended to preserve the natural finish, but this piece can go in the dishwasher for everyday convenience.
